Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

Posted on Sep 25, 2006

On Sunday October 1, the American Cancer Society will be holding its annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk to raise awareness for the ongoing efforts to detect and combat the disease.  As in past walks, members from Borg Imaging, many of whom know people who have or have had the dsease will be participating.  According to Dr. Janine Fogarty, this year's Walk coordinator for Borg Imaging and a partner in the practice, "The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk helps us to play a part in keeping the fight against breast cancer visible and vital.  We hope in some small way it helps to move individuals to fight the disease with a yearly mammogram and monetary or volunteer support".  The Walk begins with registration at 9:30 a.m. and departs from Frontier Field at 10:00 a.m.  The entire event lasts about an hour and finishes back at Frontier Field.
