Dr. Kurland named an ACR Fellow

Posted on Jul 17, 2006

Dr. Kristine Kurland, a founding partner of the Borg Imaging Group was recently inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Radiology at a formal convocation ceremony in May 2006 during the ACR 82nd Annual Meeting and Chapter Leadership Conference in Washington, DC.  Dr. Kurland has over 25 years experience in radiology and is the current Vice President of the New York State Radiological Society.

Fellowship is one of the highest honors conferred by the ACR.  While all members are expected to maintain high standards, only approximately 10% are selected for ACR fellowship.  Nominees are considered based on their service to organized medicine. Criteria include significant accomplishments in scientific or clinical research in the fields of radiology, radiation oncology, or medical physics; exemplary performance as a teacher; and an outstanding reputation among colleagues and their local community.

Dr. Kurland joins her colleague, Dr. Michael Berlow at Borg Imaging Group, who is also an ACR Fellow.
